Effect of contrast conditions of heat treatment on cyclic properties of 15Kh2NMFAA steel

Description

Results of low-cycle fatigue tests are presented for standard shells of 15Khn2mfaa steel subjected not only to the basic thermal treatment but also to the treatment following two special regimes which provide a variation of mechanical properties in one case toward the ductility increase, in the other - towards strengthening and embrittlement. A lowcycle fatigue curve for 15Khn2mfaa steel after basic thermal treatment is a lower envelope of the experimental data for special conditions of thermal treatment. All the studied states of 15Khn2mfaa steel provide safety factors required by design standards of atomic power plants as to stress and longevity
