Extraction of Cu(II) with ethyl thioacetoacetate into chloroform
Description
The extraction of Cu(II) with ethyl thioacetoacetate into chloroform has been found to be better than 98% in the pH range of 1.8 - 7.3. The decontamination factors in the substoichiometric extraction of Cu(II) are better than 105 for 16 elements. The species extracted into chloroform contains the metal and the reagent in the proportion of 1:1. (author)
