Enthalpy and heat capacity of CeB6, PrB6 and EuB6 within wide temperature range

Description
A method of mixing within the temperature range of 450-2300 K has been used for the first time to study the enthalpy of single crystals CeB6, PrB6 and polycrystal EuB6 for which measurements above 1300 K have been also made for the first time. Main thermodynamic functions (enthalpy, heat capacity, changes in enthropy and reduced Gibbs energy) of the studied hexaborides are calculated and recommended for practical use. Heat capacity of CeB6, PrB6 and EuB6 is found to get considerably higher as against that of LaB6 at high temperatures
