Spectral characterization of fast reactor neutron fields
- 1. Tokyo Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
The purpose of the present study is to characterize the neutron spectra at a fast reactor through experiments, calculations and simple representations. Neutron spectrometers have been developed and applied to the evaluation of the neutron spectra in some fundamental neutron fields; the neutron standard field, the transmitted or reflected benchmark neutron field. The methods used in the present study have been successful for the characterization of the neutron spectra in a fast reactor and effective for estimating neutron spectra in reactor physics, shielding and dosimetry.
