Description
First, the schematic set-up of a transmission electron microscope is explained, discussing also the mechanism of image formation as well as the aberration and the resolution power. Subsequently, the kinematic diffraction is dealt with (neglection of the interaction between primary beam and diffracted beam) and the scattering intensity is calculated for scattering by a plane foil, by a wedge-shaped crystal, and by a curved crystal. Finally, scattering by a crystal with lattice defects is discussed, as well as the elements of dynamic electron diffraction. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Zunaechst wird der schematische Aufbau eines Durchstrahlungselektronenmikroskops erlaeutert und auf die Linsenfehler und das Aufloesungsvermoegen, sowie auf den Mechanismus der Bildentstehung eingegangen. Anschliessend wird der kinematische Beugungsfall (Vernachlaessigung der Wechselwirkung von Primaerstrahl und gebeugtem Strahl) behandelt und die Streuintensitaet berechnet fuer Streuung an einer ebenen Folie, an einem keilfoermigen Krsitall und an einem gebogenen Kristall. Im Anschluss wird die Streuung an einem Kristall mit Gitterbaufehlern besprochen, und schliesslich werden die Elemente der dynamischen Elektronenstreuung behandelt. (orig.)Additional details
