Regulation of the State Office of Nuclear Safety No. 319/2002 of 13 June 2002 on the function and organization of the national radiation monitoring network

Description

The national radiation monitoring network is responsible for radiation monitoring over the territory of the Czech Republic, including data transmission and information system administration for: (a) assessing the radiation situation for the purposes of monitoring and assessing of the exposure status; (b) making decisions on provisions to mitigate or avert exposure in the event of a radiation accident; (c) international exchange of information and data regarding the radiation situation in the Czech Republic. The Regulation is appended with a table specifying the monitoring items and requirements for their monitoring (in normal conditions and during emergencies). (P.A.)
