Experimental research of the process of second solvent extraction cycle of high enriched uranium with mixer-settler

Description
The process of second high enriched uranium cycle (uranium purification) with critically safe multistage mixer-settler is experimentally studied. The experimental values of U, HNO3 profiles in extraction cascade are also obtained. These results agree with those of test tube experiments well. During the experiment, the total level surface of two phases and contact phase ratio have been measured. The total level surface is lower than the critical safe limit. The recovery ratio of U is greater than 99.9% and stage efficiency of extraction section of the 2D mixer-settler is >90%
