Description
The special diagnostic advantages of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for early and exact detection of small structural lesions, exemplified by gliomas and angiomas related to temporal lobe epilepsy, are pointed out. Preliminary findings from the application of phosphorus-31 magnetic resonance spectroscopy (PMRS) for metabolic analysis applied to differential diagnosis of intracranial tumors are summarized.
