Description
The Quantum Medical Science Institute of the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology is distinguished by its active development of molecular probes and their utilization and supply both within and outside the institute, resulting in a significant portion of machine time being allocated to the production of radioisotopes. Cyclotron Facility has managed the operation of two cyclotrons this fiscal year. Due to the impact of the power room fire in November, the total operating time for the large cyclotron was 1113 hours, approximately 28% less than the previous year. The operating time allocated for paid beam provision was 204 hours, about 35% less than the previous year. Similarly, the total operating time for the small cyclotron was 1030 hours, about 16% less than the previous year due to the power room fire. The details of these operations are described below. 量子科学技術研究開発機構量子医科学研究所(QST 量医研) サイクロトロン施設の特徴は、所内での活発な分子プローブ開発、その所内外での利用と供給のために、マシンタイムの多くの割合が放射性同位元素の生産に利用されることである。量医研サイクロトロン施設は、2台のサイクロトロンを含む施設の運用・管理を本年度も行ってきた。本年度は11月に起きた電源室火災の影響により、大型サイクロトロンの総運転時間は昨年度より約28%少ない1113時間であった。有償ビーム提供に利用される運転時間も昨年度より約35%少ない204時間であった。小型サイクロトロンの総運転時間も電源室火災の影響により、昨年度より約16%少ない1030時間であった。以下にこれらの詳細を示す。(著者)Additional details
