Anti vibrating device for heat exchanger tubes

Description

The tubes of a PWR steam generator are of inverted U shape and arranged in parallel flat arrays with radially extending bars located between adjacent arrays at the top of the generator to restraint the tubes from vibrating. The radially outer ends of adjacent bars are connected together in groups of two or more by spacers, having a body of length equal to the tube diameter with a screw threaded hole at one end and a screw threaded shaft at the other end. 8 figs
