Electromagnetic radiation from an anisotropic plasma layer in magnetic field

Description

Generation of electromagnetic radiation from the magnetoactive plasma layer formed under powerful pulse of ionizing radiation is examined. Near-the-surface current in plasma occurring at ionization moment is shown to result in generation of whistles and in their intensification in proportion to distribution in plasma. Estimations of energy, of duration and of spectral composition of electromagnetic impulse are obtained. 7 refs
