Eco information 2. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost , a.s., on the environment within February 2008

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP and Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VYZ) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - February 2008 (for NPP V1, VYZ A1, and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 0.588 TBq (0.029% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 7.442 MBq (0.009% AL) for V1), 0.667 MBq (0.07% of AL) for VYZ A1 and 0.120 MBq (0.04% of AL) for VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.368 MBq (0.001% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a February 2008 for NPP V1, VYZ A1 and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 0.284 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 3.763 MBq (V1), 0.273 MBq (VYZ A1) and 0.034 MBq (VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.133 MBq (V1) of iodine; 1.664 MBq (V1) and 11.89 MBq (VYZ, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 56.1 GBq (V1) and 15.86 GBq (VYZ, totally) of tritium. For the period January - February 2008 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 4.194 MBq (0.032% of AL) for V1, 20.49 MBq (0.17% of AL) for VYZ; and for tritium it is 136.9 GBq (0.684% of AL) for V1, 26.79 GBq (0.27% of AL) for VYZ.
