Check of proximity effect theories by experiments on the Pb/Sn system
Description
The purpose of the experiments described was to check the Hook and Waldram theory of the proximity effect and in particular the non-local correction term. The tentative conclusion to be drawn from the results for the specimens is that the HW theory describes the proximity effect well and significantly better than does the local theory. (Auth.)
