Observation of decays of charmed D mesons and σ++c (2450) baryon produced in neutrino-nucleus interactions in photoemulsions
- 1. Joint Inst. for Nuclear Research, Dubna (USSR)
Description
The results are presented on the experimental search and analysis of decays of charmed particles produced in neutrino-emulsion interactions. In the present experiment cryogenically sensitive BR2 emulsions were placed into the Fremilab 15-foot bubble chamber and were exposed in the neutrino beam with wide energy spectrum up to 200 GeV. The method of the search for the interactions by using a track technique in a horizontaly exposed emulsion layers in hybrid experiments is considered. The decays of Λc+ baryon, of D+ and two D0 mesons are found. The event with Λc+ decay is interpreted as a production and decay of a charmed baryonic resonance Σc++(2450) into Λc+π+
