A simple personal dosemeter for thermal, intermediate and fast neutrons based on CR-39 etched track detectors

Description
A simple personal neutron dosemeter based on etched track detectors has been developed which shows a reasonably flat dose equivalent response for neutrons from thermal energies up to 15 MeV, and provides rough spectrometric information obtained by evaluating two additional track detectors. The dosemeter response was measured and tested in fields with monoenergetic neutrons and broad spectral distributions, some of them with additional photon irradiation, and at angles of incidence of up to 60 degrees.
