  • 1. M.Osimi Tajik Technical University, Dushanbe (Tajikistan)

Description

The solution of many problems of modern technology is associated with the use of materials with high oxidation resistance. Therefore, study of interaction of oxygen with metals and alloys has acquired great importance in connection with the recent widespread use in various fields of science and technology of new materials with special physical and chemical properties. In this regard, a special place is given to alloys of aluminum with iron. There is no information in the literature on heat resistance of these calcium-modified alloys. The oxidation process of alloys has been studied in oxygen under isothermal conditions by means of thermogravimetric method with continuous fixation of sample mass, for an hour at temperatures of 673 K; 773 K and 873 K. Based on experimental data, the kinetic curves of oxidation have been plotted, as well as the values of specific increase of mass on amount of calcium in AZh2.18 alloy, time and temperature.
