National legislative and regulatory activities

Laws in the field of nuclear industry are reported: resolution on the resumption of construction of a thermonuclear plant (Brazil); decrees on technical inquiries in the event of incidents or accidents relating nuclear activities, basic nuclear installations and verifying the nuclear safety of radioactive materials transport (France); implementation of EURATOM directive on the control of high activity sealed radioactive sources and orphan sources (Italy); amendment on the law on final disposal of high level radioactive waste (Japan); Grand Ducal regulations on the protection of the public against the risks resulting from ionizing radiations and information exchange with Belgium in the event of an accident (Luxembourg); regulations on the management and monitoring of nuclear safety equipment for civilian use and official reply of the state council to questions on the liabilities of compensation of damages resulting from nuclear accidents(people republic of China); orders in relation with nuclear safety for Romania; decree on the control of radioactive contamination in the shipment of scrap metal (Slovenia); law concerning the construction and operation of nuclear power plants and the sale of energy generated from those plants (Turkey).
