Neutron scattering in AuFe (20% Fe) and the randomly canted ferromagnetic state

  • 1. International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste (Italy)
  • 2. Indian Inst. of Tech., Kanpur. Dept. of Physics

Description

The neutron scattering cross-section dσ/dΩsub(q-vector) and its Bragg scattering component is studied based on the approach introduced by us earlier (Mookerjee and Roy 1983a). Comparison with experiment leads us to describe the low temperature state around these concentrations as a randomly canted ferromagnet. (author)
