The ceramic anchor which fixes a electromagnet

Description

The electromagnet of the J-PARC 50 GeV synchrotron is fixed on the concrete floor by the ceramic anchor. This report is about the fixation material (epoxy resin) and the ceramic anchor. An examination subject is the confirmation of the shearing stress and the tensile strength. Furthermore, do it about the radiation irradiation. An examination was the same as the use conditions. The ceramic anchor was set inside the concrete block by the fixation medicine. A good result came out from the shearing stress and the tensile strength. As for the radiation irradiation examination, it measure the condition of the fixation medicine. A source of radiation is cobalt 60 (gamma ray). The strength of the fixation medicine didn't deterioration. (author)
