Communication received from the Russian Federation Concerning Its Policies Regarding the Management of Plutonium
Description
The Director General has received a letter dated 9 March 2007 from the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the IAEA in the enclosures of which the Government of Russian Federation, in keeping with its commitment under the Guidelines for the Management of Plutonium (contained in INFCIRC/549 of 16 March 1998 and hereinafter referred to as the 'Guidelines'), and in accordance with Annexes B and C of the Guidelines, has made available annual figures for holdings of civil unirradiated plutonium and the estimated amounts of plutonium contained in spent civil reactor fuel as of 31 December 2006

Le Directeur general a recu de la mission permanente de la Federation de Russie aupres de l'AIEA une lettre en date du 9 mars 2007 accompagnee de pieces jointes dans lesquelles le gouvernement de la Federation de Russie, conformement a l'engagement qu'il a pris en vertu des Directives relatives a la gestion du plutonium (figurant dans le document INFCIRC/549 du 16 avril 1998 et denommees ci-apres les ) et aux annexes B et C des Directives, communique les statistiques annuelles des quantites de plutonium civil non irradie et les quantites estimees de plutonium contenu dans du combustible irradie dans des reacteurs civils qu'il detenait au 31 decembre 2006Files
