Description
The question concerning sensitivity of V-alloys to high temperature helium embrittlement has not been resolved unambiguously. Earlier performed irradiations of V-5Ti alloy did not appear to suffer from He-embrittlement in the irradiation.test temperature range 500 - 700 deg C. Irradiation of 10B doped V- alloys in the HFR have been performed. Results of tensile tests on irradiated samples of the alloys V-5Ti and V-3Ti-1Si are presented. (author). 7 refs.; 2 figs
