Description
Because the raw materials and products in the Uranium enrichment industry are unirradiated uranium, It is generally believed that fill the material container external exposure level is higher than the empty container, and should pay more attention to the external radiation dose levels. However, in practice, it is found that the external exposure of the containers just emptied is higher than that of the containers filled with materials. Therefore, in this paper, we have investigated the radiation levels of the material containers in uranium enrichment plant, and find out the reason of the high radiation levels of the new empty container and have reached the conclusion that the radiation protection work for the containers newly emptied should be paid more attention to.
