Calculation of the point source effective collimator aperture for collimated X-ray and γ-ray telescopes
Description
Techniques for calculating the energy dependent near and distant point source effective collimator aperture of a collimated detector have been developed. The results are found to be in good agreement with the experimentally determined values from a shielded γ-ray telescope. (orig.)
