Inner-shell excitation in very heavy ion-atom collisions
Creators

Description
Paper concentrates on characteristic x-ray emission with special emphasis or very heavy collision systems. A brief survey of the excitation mechanisms is followed by a summary of experimental results on total and differential (impact-parameter) cross sections. There is some comparison of these experimental results with theory before the paper concludes with a discussion of extraction of binding energies for super-heavy MO's
