According to 'Oil market Report' of IEA (March, 1999), total world petroleum demand in 1998 showed controlled increase at later half to become 73.80 MB/D (0.5% increase in comparison with that of last year) which corresponded to about 0.4 MB/D increase in comparison with that of last year in 1998. And, total world petroleum supply in 1997 was 75.30 MB/D, which corresponded to about 0.90 MB/D increase (1.2% increase in comparison with that of last year).
