Description
The development and present state of research and production of radiopharmaceuticals are briefly surveyed. The gradual increase in the number of nuclear medicine departments in Czechoslovakia and the corresponding increase in the number of examinations using radioactive preparations are shown graphically. Several original procedures developed by the Nuclear Research Institute are mentioned together with the contribution of the Institute specialists to international cooperation.
