The influence of crystalline fields on the magnetic properties of Sm2(Co,T)17
Description
The exchange and crystal field parameters of Sm2(Co,T)17 for T=Fe, Mn, Cr have been determined from anisotropy measurements. Their composition dependence suggests the importance of charge transfer and electron concentration effects. The values also yield a satisfactory agreement between observed and calculated Sm3+ ionic moments. (Auth.)
