Description

The spectra of the planetary nebulae NGC 7027 and NGC 7293 were obtained with the aid of the 3-prism Cassegrainian spectrograph of the 188-cm telescope of the Kottamia Observatory. The ionization in a bright condensation in NGC 7293 and the variations of the selective absorption over the image of NGC 7027 were estimated. Some conclusions on the distribution of the absorbing matter in this object responsible for the differences of its shape in the radio, infrared and optical emission were made
