Description
With the development of nuclear power technology, nuclear safety regulations and nuclear safety regulatory authorities of every country have placed stricter demands on the safety of nuclear power plant(NPP). Based on the design characteristics of the third-generation NPP and the severe accident management(SAM), this paper studies the equipment availability demonstration method under severe accident conditions, and analyzes the availability of equipment and instruments required for SAM of the third-generation NPP. The main contents include the equipment availability demonstration method, the classification of equipment and instruments required for SAM, running time of instrument and equipment, the analysis of severe accident environmental conditions, the determination of equipment qualification conditions, and the analysis of serious accident environmental conditions.
