Calculation of weld strength buffer tank tank heating and cooling in strand FASSIP-01

Description

weld strength calculation is based on a consideration of the safety of the construction of the main frame and additional components such as stems holder for cooling and heating tank. Influenced by the strength of welded joints; type of parent metal, type of filler, the shape of the weld joint is used, the height and length of the weld joint, directions and expenses as it happens. Components stalk holder uses the profile UNP50 material with a size of 50 × 30 × 5 mm and a length of 400 mm are welded to the main frame using E7013 electrode type with a diameter of 2.4 mm. The calculations show that the connection type Intersection (butt-joint) capable of supporting a load of 652 kN the vertical direction, horizontal direction load of 785 kN, and the eccentric load of 803 kN. While the use of overlapping connection (lap-joint) get an increase of 40 % for loads vertical direction, 37 % for load horizontal direction, and 47 % for the eccentric load, to the calculation results with or without the value of the safety factor (safety factor).
