X-ray examination apparatus

Description

The invention relates to an X-ray examination system with an output imaging screen. By equipping the examination system with an image-field selector, it is possible to select any given area of the output screen without disturbing the imaging process in the TV chain or the hard-copy apparatus. In doing so, an optimal brightness can be achieved for the most interesting part of the screen area and so effects by the light content of less interesting parts are bypassed. For that purpose, in the imaging beam a light selector is placed that splits off a sub-beam in the trajectory of which a measuring field selector is placed with a lightmeter that determines the brightness of the corresponding measuring field.
