Discovery of new mechanism of light scattering in antiferromagnetic during AFMR spectrum investigation

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Fizicheskikh Problem

Description

The Mandelstam-Brillouin light scattering (a=632.8 nm) at spin waves with wave vector q=0 (direct scattering geometry) excited by SHF field (antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR)) has been studied. Investigation has been carried out at the cubic EuTe crystal at T < 2K. At AFMR spectrum investigation in EuTe the mechanism of hight scattering conditioned by S-f exchange interaction is found out
