Description

The report describes the development of new numerical techniques for the TRAFIC fuel performance code. The new code, designated TRAFIC-2, couples the mechanical and heat-transfer calculations more strongly. This has the potential for increased stability and larger time steps in the calculation, with only a minor cost penalty for each step. (author)
