Dissolution of hydrolyzed titanium precipitate and regeneration of resin poisoned by titanium

Description

The insoluble titanium dioxide which is produced from hydrolysis of Ti4+ can be dissolved rapidly in hot solution containing 0.25 mol/l NaOH and a definite quantity of H2O2. An ion exchange resin poisoned by the titanium dioxide precipitate can be regenerated with 2 mol/l HCl and above mentioned solution. The performance of resin regenerated did not change
