Description
While the benefits of Computed Tomography are well known in diagnosing diseases and trauma, these benefits should far outweigh the radiation risk involved therein. This emphasizes the importance of keeping radiation doses as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). This study intends to evaluate radiation safety related parameters in the state of Tamil Nadu, South India and attempts to establish regional diagnostic reference levels (DRL)
