On the boundaries of quasistationary method application in calculations of burnout dynamics in steam generating channels

Description

Applicability of the quasistationary approach to calculations of pulsation operation conditions of steam generators is considered. A quasistationary approach is based on the comparison of characteristic times of proceeding of elementary processes determining conditions of heat emission crisis and time of perturbation (with provision for the depth of the change of determining factors). A dimensionless perturbation parameter is proposed to be used which is characterized by the time of transient process, law and depth of change of operation conditions. It is shown that calculations of margin before the heat emission crisis in non-stationary processes are advantageous to be conducted according to the quasistationary method
