Polymorphous transformations in heat-treated precipitates of zirconium and ytterbium hydroxides

Description
Structural transformations by heat treatment of zirconium and yttrium hydroxides in dependence on yttrium quantity and the way of its introduction are studied. Transfer from T-modification into M-modification is realized by heating through gradual hydroxides precipitation and from M-modification into T-modification through hydroxides coprecipitation. The products phase composition depends on dispersivity and elastic strength of initial microparticles. 10 refs.; 3 figs.; 2 tabs
