Study on the 100Ru energy level properties

Description
The purpose of the investigation was to study gamma spectrum and angular γγ correlations in the 100Rh decay into 100Ru levels. The 100Rh sources were obtained from the (pn) reaction on irradiating ruthenium targets at 90% enrichment by 100Ru. The gamma spectrum was measured on a Ge(Li) spectrometer. Angular correlations were taken on a device with Ge(Li)-NaJ(Tl) detectors. The following transitions have been found for the first time: 218(0.3+-0.001), 234 (0.10+-0.02), 378(0.12+-0.02), 638(0.11+-0.02), and 1024(0.04+-0.02) keV. (In parenthesis U the intensities of these transitions with respect to the γ transitions at the energy of 539 keV are enclosed). Basing on the analysis of the results, spins and parities of some levels as well as multipolarity of several 100Ru transitions have been determined. The information obtained enabled one to supplement the 100Rh decay scheme
