Efficiency evaluation for small and medium-sized reactors in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia)

Description
The paper analyzes the technical and economic expediency of small-power NPP (SPNPP) deployment in remote regions of Russia using the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) as an example. The analysis made shows that the SPNPP competitiveness evaluation models for particular regions with account of their energy and economic environment hold more promise for SPNPP development. The calculations show that SPNPP deployment in the republic may be economically feasible and desirable because it will result in the improved environmental conditions in the region

На примере Республики Саха (Якутия) проанализирована технико-экономическая целесообразность применения атомных станций малой мощности (АСММ) в труднодоступных районах России. Оценка конкурентоспособности АСММ произведена с привязкой к конкретной точке и учетом специфики энергетического и экономического окружения.
