Description
Due to recent progress in ICF study carried out by NOVA and others high-power lasers as well as in related programs of ICF ignition in a future NIF, LMJ and KONGOH facilities it is now opened new possibility to realize rather old idea of ICF energy utilisation based on the interaction of D-He3 fusion plasma with various magnetic field systems. Such systems could provide the direct conversion of fusion energy into electrical or mechanical ones, but up to now the physics of this interactions was investigated only by simplified numerical MHD and PIC models. We suggest to study the physics of such kind interactions in experiments with 'usual' laser-produced plasma. (author)
