Description

Isotopic composition of nitrogen and oxygen in nitrate proved to be a useful tool to trace the origin of this compound in surface waters and in ground water. This article reviewers the currently used methods of extraction, sample preparation and isotope analysis of nitrates dissolved in waters of various origin. (author)
