Solidification method for radioactive wastes
Description
A performance for keeping radioactive iodine of radioactive waste solidification materials is improved by using a cement solidification material. An oxidizing agent is added upon forming radioactive wastes solidification materials by using the cement solidification material. Alternatively, an oxidizing agent having an oxidizing effect of 1.085(V) or more by a standard electrode potential difference is added. Alternatively, peroxo disulfate, silver oxide, permanganate or dichromate is added. Alternatively, the oxidizing agent is added in an amount of 0.01mol relative to 100g of waste solidification materials. (T.M.)
