Resonance analysis of 40Ca(α,α)40Ca in the energy range Esub(α) = 4.35 to 5.65 MeV

Description
The excitation function for 40Ca alpha elastic scattering from 4.35 to 5.65 MeV measured with 5 KeV resolution at 4 angles has been analysed using the R-matrix theory. The spin-parities and alpha-widths for 29 levels in the compound nucleus 44Ti have been extracted. (author)
