Quantum mechanical observation

Description

We formulate a reasonable theory of quantum measurement by introducing the decoherence parameters, which enable us to judge whether an instrument works well or not as a measuring apparatus. By making use of the decoherence parameters, we discuss measurement processes and neutron interference phenomena on an equal footing. Finally, we also examine a possible relationship between quantum dephasing and chaos. (author)
