Turbulence in the solar atmosphere and the planetary plasma
Description
The main characteristics of the plasma turbulence in the solar chromosphere, corona and supercorona (acceleration region) are considered. It is shown that the energy transmission from the acoustic disturbances generated on the photospheric level into the interplanetary plasma is provided by the joint influence of nonlinear interactions and wave propagation effects. Outside the chromosphere, strong damping takes place near the height 0.4 R sub(Sun) for the waves of sound type and near 10 Rsub(Sun) for the Alfven waves
