The challenge: global deployment of small and advanced reactors
Description
Ths presentation discusses the workings of the Nuclear Energy Agency and the various projects it is involved in. Some of the projects involve nuclear safety research; nuclear safety databases; nuclear science; radioactive waste management; radiological protection as well as nuclear education skills and technology framework. Nuclear energy is expected to play a larger role because of concerns of climate change.
