Inner-core neutron-hole state 1h11/2 in odd Nd and Sm isotopes
- 1. Institute for Nuclear Study, University of Tokyo, Tanashi, Tokyo, Japan
Description
Almost all of the single-particle strength of the neutron-hole state 1h11/2-1 in 145,147Nd and 147,149,151,153Sm has been observed by using the preferential population to the high-spin states of the (3He, α) reaction at 82 MeV. The strength distribution in the α-particle spectra suggests that the 1h11/2-1 state in these nuclei is split into the Nilsson orbitals as a result of deformation. The deformation parameters obtained are consistent with those of the adjacent even-even nuclei, except in the N = 85 isotones
