Coal gasification- a new route for coal based power generation in India

Description
Gasification of high ash coal from North Karanpura, Bihar was studied in detail, based on which, the moving bed gasification system was scaled up to suit a conceptual integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) demonstration plant of 600 MW size. The details of scale up and the data used for the preparation of techno-economic feasibility report (TEFR) are presented. 7 tabs., 1 fig
