Description
In the lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) experiments, the fast electrons driven by the wave are very important for understanding the lower hybrid current drive physics. Electron cyclotron emission (ECE) spectra have been measured in the LHCD experiments on the HL-1M tokamak by means of a 2 mm microwave scanning heterodyne receiver. To analyze the experimental spectra, several theoretical ECE spectra have been calculated. By comparing the theoretical calculation results with the experiment data, the energy distribution of fast electrons can be obtained. The behavior of fast electrons in the LHCD plasma in the HL-1M tokamak have been investigated by these methods
