Calculation of parity mixing in 19F
- 1. Institut fur Theoretische Physik, Ruhr-Universitat Bochum, Germany and Max-Planck-Institut fur Chemie, Mainz, Germany
Description
The conventional model of weak interactions is tested in the case of the recently measured γ asymmetry in 19F. It is shown that the conventional model leads to an asymmetry delta about one fourth to one third of the experimental value. Extra currents in the hadronic part of the weak interaction could be an explanation for this discrepancy
